Home pipe organ, Malvern, UK
Rushworth and Dreaper 1981 2 manual 7 stop pipe organ and upright piano in our family home.
We offer a small double bedroom at no charge, with small double bed and ensuite shower room – electric shower, toilet, handbasin. We could squeeze two into the room (adult and child) or fit one adult, comfortably.
We are a couple with a son (organ scholar; at university). Our home is a detached house with garden on the slopes of the Malvern Hills in the town of Malvern. There is a thriving amateur local music scene and potential opportunities to play for church services/practice on larger instruments. Edward Elgar composed his ‘Enigma Variations’ whilst living in Malvern and used to walk on the Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Excellent rail links to Worcester (Three Choirs Festival) and Birmingham (CBSO, Symphony Hall, Town Hall, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Birmingham Royal Ballet) and also to London (about 3 hours).
